The romantic park at Vysehrad
The tall, old trees, raising their branches to the sky, the mysterious paths along the huge park will make the visit to Vysehrad one more than pleasant.
On your way through the park you will find the “Vysehrad stone” that is said to have been dropped by the Devil, after a fight with a priest.
There can also be seen the Gothic ruins of Libuse’s Baths (remains of the former fortifications) and the statues of Libuse and Premysl and other Czech historic figures. Statues at Vysehrad are now replicas, the original works are kept in the Lapidarium.
